Data Privacy - our #1 Mission - We innovated"military-grade" encryption in using the Passphrase to add the 4th tier of data encryption when storing data in DEX IT.
The Passphrase - is like the PIN you enter at your Bank ATM to get your money.
The difference is that our PIN allows not just numbers but any string of characters, or phrase.
What that means is that to access your Cabinet and data, you must first enter your "Personal Secret" Passphrase . You can also create and use multiple PIN's, so you're not restricted to just one. However, you'll need to remember the PIN that you use for each, or you will be denied access to the data.
DEX has been engineered to use the same Passphrase technology using a "Personal Secret", you can choose from any number, word or phrase.
When creating each Cabinet data set the user enters a Privacy Passphrase that is used in the process of encrypting all data and make access to DEXIT impossible without the entry of the established PIN.
Entry of the Passphrase "the 1st time the Cabinet DataSet is created" will be when the app uses the Passphrase to establish your personal "Secret" encryption of the data.
The Passphrase can not be changed! The Passphrase will assure the Data Privacy of your Data Store as long as the Passphrase is not divulged to anyone.
Identity Access - Teams
The Passphrase sounds perfect for an individual user but does DEXIT support Teams?
Yes! The Passphrase is designed to be a personal security secret used by an individual user.
However, If you have the need to have "Teams" sharing the interaction with data in a Cabinet the [ Teams ] button can be clicked presenting a drop-list of user pre-defined teams, the user simple selects a team from the list and accepts to join the team.
This provides the functionality for multipe users on a "Team" to concurrently share access to the a common data Cabinet's contents with all the security of the multi-tier data encryption.
Data Encryption
DEXIT uses multiple tiers of data encryption in its data privacy algorithms.
The Passphrase , is used in conjunction with multiple levels of internal cyphers when encrypting data, this will help assure access to your data store is protected by the most sophisticateddata privacy engineering available in the industry today.
Don't Forget your Passphrase
The Passphrase can be any string of characters, including numbers and special characters. Once the Passphrse is entered and used to encrypt data in a Cabinet it CANNOT be changed.
The Passphrase NEEDS TO BE REMEMBERED and entered each time the application is started when using a Cabinet with a Passphrase .
Unique Passphrase 's can be used for each data Cabinet but each must be remembered.
